WES LEWIS, M.D.

FAMILY MEDICINE AND SPORTS MEDICINE

            Dr. Lewis is board certified in family medicine and nonsurgical sports medicine.  His practice includes all aspects of general medicine and pediatrics with special interest in exercise and sports medicine.  He has been a part of Foothill Family Clinic since 1998.

            Dr. Lewis graduated from the University of Arizona College Of Medicine in 1991.  He completed an internship in general surgery and residency in family medicine at the University of Arizona.  He has also completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Methodist Sports Medicine Center in Indianapolis IN.

            Dr. Lewis is a native of Montana.  He comes to medicine as a second career after coaching gymnastics for 10 years, the last seven at Arizona State University.  He participates in sports event coverage regularly and serves as a team physician for Skyline High School Football.  He lives in Sandy with his wife and two children.  Away from medicine he enjoys his family, hiking, skiing and guitar.
