Dr. Stephen D. Coleman believes he is a partner in each patient’s wellness journey. His goal is to provide medical expertise as well as support and encouragement to live your best possible life.
Dr. Coleman joined Foothill Family Clinic in 1998. A native of Indiana, he received his bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and his medical degree from the University of Arizona. Dr. Coleman completed a General Surgery internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. He served as Chief Resident during his Family Practice residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana.
An avid road and mountain bicyclist, Dr. Coleman competed in the grueling 200+ mile LoToJa bicycle race. He also enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and travel. He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Jan, a marketing professional and fellow UA Wildcat. Their daughter is an Industrial Designer living in Seattle.
Despite being from a rabid basketball state, Dr. Coleman watches only one major professional sporting event each year – the Tour de France.
