Ruth Kennedy is a nurse practitioner who specializes in headaches and migraines. Her formative years were spent at patient bedsides as an Emergency Department and ICU nurs. However, as her own migraines worsened, she became motivated to study this relatively common and, at times, debilitating neuro-genetic condition.
She initially came to Foothill Family Clinic as a headache patient in 2016. Now, Ruth works to help others manage chronic headache conditions for maximum quality of life. She especially enjoys providing acute rescue for headache patients with nerve blocks and IV therapy. Ruth has been trained directly by Dr. Dan Henry, attended the national headache symposium, and is a member of the American Headache Society.
