MLT needed for a fast paced lab located in our a medical clinic.
Essential Functions include:
Punctual and in attendance for scheduled shifts.
Complies with all clinic policies and procedures, especially patient confidentiality requirements.
Performs specialized tests or procedures.
Enters patient demographic information and test results into clinic computer systems. Enters test order information into computer systems.
Ensures that the ordering physician or appropriate individuals obtain patient lab results.
Evaluates, troubleshoots problems and makes decisions related to specimen preparation and procedures for preparation.
Prepares, labels, and performs quality control inspections on laboratory reagents.
Maintains required lab records.
May assist the phlebotomist when patient load requires.
Obtains blood specimens by established venipuncture and capillary techniques. Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: Starting wage $21.00 per hour, based on experience
