Dr. Braden Thornton is an Utah native and board-certified family physician dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. He completed his Family Medicine residency at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Thornton enjoys caring for the entire family, from newborns and children to adults and older adults. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease management, and office-based procedures. He particularly enjoys helping patients prevent disease before it occurs, improve their overall health through sustainable lifestyle changes, and manage common chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Dr. Thornton believes that excellent healthcare starts with truly listening to patients and understanding their individual goals, concerns, and experiences. He strives to partner with patients to develop personalized treatment plans while addressing the underlying factors contributing to disease whenever possible. He believes that education, prevention, and a strong patient-physician relationship are essential to helping patients achieve and maintain long-term health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Thornton enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, golfing, fly fishing, skiing, and exploring local restaurants.
