Family Practice with Obstetrics
Dr. Jacqueline Rohrer joined Foothill in August of 2013. She has training in family medicine, with a focus in obstetrics and maternal-newborn health. She enjoys caring for the entire family, including adult medicine, prenatal care, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Her practice is also LGBTQ friendly. Her favorite aspect of her work is the continuity involved in prenatal care, tending to a delivery, and then following the mom and baby together after birth. She also is an experienced breastfeeding advocate.
In the outpatient setting, Dr. Rohrer is skilled in many office procedures including pap smear, placement and removal of intrauterine devices (IUD) and intradermal contraception (Nexplanon), circumcision, vasectomy, skin biopsy, joint injections, and casting and splinting.
Dr. Rohrer performs the following obstetrical procedures:
Vaginal delivery
Cesarean section
Tubal ligation
Version of a breech baby
