Susan Edwards was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Edwards joined Foothill Family clinic as a provider in 1991, where she actively practices family medicine from infancy to geriatrics. She has a particular interest in women’s issues, excluding obstetrics. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, gardening, music concerts, and traveling ─ especially when these activities involve family and friends.
Dr. Edwards attended Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. Her medical school and residency training was at the University of Utah Health Sciences Center.
After finishing her Family Practice residency, Dr. Edwards worked at the University of Utah Family and Preventive Medicine department for 5 years as a Clinical Instructor and Assistant Professor. She has been Board Certified in Family Medicine since 1985. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She has been active in various community medical activities including 9 years with the University Of Utah School Of Medicine Alumni Board.
