Morgan Judd, a Utah local, completed undergraduate studies in St. Louis at Lindenwood University where she studied Exercise Science and played NCAA lacrosse. Afterward, she returned to Utah to complete her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees at the University of Utah, where she achieved dual-certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife and Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.
Morgan is passionate about providing obstetric and gynecologic care. She believes in the midwifery model of care that values patient-focused, holistic care to address broader determinants of health and promote well-being. Her mission is to broaden the scope of family practice to include care for women throughout the lifespan, including her interests in sexual health, fertility, contraception, and menopause.
The midwifery model of care approaches pregnancy and childbirth as a healthy, physiologic process to reduce the need for unnecessary interventions when possible. Close collaboration with physicians allows a nurse midwife to care for a broader scope of patients who may have more complicated conditions. Nurse midwives can also provide well-newborn care for the first month of life.
In her free time, Morgan enjoys maximizing her time outdoors by snowboarding, hiking, climbing, playing lacrosse, and spending time with friends and family.
