Family Practice
Tallya Llewelyn was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Westminster University in 2020. Tallya pursued her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees at the University of Utah, where she also earned a certificate in Global Public Health in 2025. As part of her global health studies, Tallya spent a month abroad collaborating with Rwandan and Peruvian healthcare students, to increase access and improve care management. These experiences deepened her commitment to accessible, compassionate healthcare.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Tallya worked as a registered nurse for five years, including one year in pediatric behavioral health and four years in the Neuro ICU. These experiences shaped her understanding of complex patient needs across the lifespan and reinforced her dedication to holistic care.
Tallya has a special passion for migraine care, driven by her own personal experience with migraines. She understands firsthand the impact that headache disorders can have on quality of life and is committed to helping patients find effective management strategies. Her approach to all patient care emphasizes collaborative decision-making and evidence-based treatment, ensuring that every patient feels heard and supported.
In her free time, Tallya enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, and skiing. She also loves experimenting with gluten-free baking and exploring new destinations, having traveled to 15 countries and counting.
